The TMAs welcomes fans from around the country for this year’s
awards show, which will be hosted by South Texas’ own funnyman,
Comedian Raymond Orta, feature unforgettable live
performances, new awards categories, and finish with a dance to
top off the biggest night in Tejano Music.
Since the early 1980s, the Tejano Music Awards stage has offered
fans memorable performances from up-and-coming and established
artists and served as the site of historic moments with the
revelation of the annual award winners that celebrates Tejano
music’s top talent. Don't miss out on this incredible annual
gathering of Tejano Music artists, local, regional and
international celebrities all who converge in San Antonio, the
capital of Tejano music.
This year, the Tejano Music Awards will be held at the historic
Scottish Rite Theatre and features a live dance after the awards
with performances by Ram Herrera, Sunny Sauceda, and
Artists scheduled to perform include:
Shelly Lares, Stefani Montiel, Hugo Guerrero,
Flaco Jiménez, Tony “Tigre” Saenz, Rubén Ramos,
Isabel Marie, Roger Velásquez & The Latin Legends,
Magali Delarosa, Alfredo Guererro with Tortilla
Lifetime achievement honorees this year will be “The First Lady
of Conjunto Music” Linda Escobar and Gilbert Rodríguez
of the Blue Notes, a Tejano music pioneer, who will both be
honored for their roles as Tejano Conjunto Music trendsetters.
Fans can meet and greet the stars during a red-carpet ceremony
that will be held prior to the awards show featuring several
Tejano artists and special guests to be announced soon. The
